11 April 2008 - Today, as I write this editorial, more than 4,000 of brave
warriors have died in Iraq. Five years have passed since the United States
first sent its armed forces into Iraq. Military experts predict that they will
be there for a long time.
Both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the entire Global War on Terrorism,
could quickly be ended if the U.S. military would use Invincible Defense
Technology (IDT). Since 1989, when I first started working on my
Ph.D.
dissertation on Consciousness-Based Military Defense, I have contacted
military-related leaders worldwide about using IDT to end war and prevent
enemies from arising. I started with American military-related leaders,
particularly U.S. Air Force generals I met in 1990 while serving my second
enlistment in the U.S. Air Force at Offutt AFB.
Not one was interested.
Even if I could find one, my politically savvy commander counseled me that it
would take at least ten generals to convince the U.S. military to deploy an
IDT system.
Since an IDT system could not be used for nefarious purposes against the
United States or any other country, I had no qualms about contacting the
Russians, who have long sought to win the race to "inner space" by harnessing
the untapped potential of the human mind. In 1991, they responded favorably to
my inquiry to give presentations about IDT.
Subscribers to
Invincible Defense Technology News who have known me a
long time may remember my lecture tour in Moscow where I gave presentations at
the Russian Air Force Academy, the Russian Academy of Sciences, etc.
(Newcomers to IDT can read a 1992 article in
Insight that
I wrote entitled a "
New
Military Science Is Warmly Received in Moscow" about these groundbreaking
lectures.) The last presentation I gave in Russia was to
General-Major
Leonid Shershnev, USSR Army (Ret.) who was the President of the National
and International Security Foundation in Moscow. A key player in the Soviet's
ill-fated war in Afghanistan, who watched first-hand the great loss of life,
he was intrigued with the IDT strategy of victory before war. Shershnev
readily agreed to serve as a consultant for my doctoral program in
Consciousness-Based Military Defense.
I suspect that General-Major Shershnev and others in Moscow may be ultimately
responsible for the many generals and other military-related leaders from
former Soviet-block countries who attended the
Third
International Conference on Invincible Defense in The Netherlands.
These senior leaders wrote encouraging assessments of the potential of IDT and
apparently reported back to their governmental leaders, urging implementation.
However, since most countries only sent one or two representatives to attend
the conferences, they could not convince at least ten generals/admirals that
it was in their best interest to create an invincible military.
Today's climate is different. Senior leaders are more open-minded. I have been
contacted by scientists at military academies worldwide who have expressed
interest in IDT. I will be giving a presentation at a military
academy's-sponsored event in Asia this summer. [
Editor's Note:
See: information about presentations at
Seoul
National University & Korea Military Academy as well as the Korea Institute
for Defense Analyses] I anticipate that soon, a country's military will
decide to explore "inner space" by deploying IDT, making their nation
invincible. If this is not the United States, then the US Military Academy at
West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the
U.S. Naval Academy will be scrambling to catch up.
The late Admiral Hyman G. Rickover, U.S. Navy who was known as the "Father of
the Nuclear Navy," said that: "Good ideas are not adopted automatically. They
must be driven into practice with courageous patience." During these dangerous
times, when terrorists can attack at any time with weapons of mass
destruction, preventing such enemies from arising is a good idea whose time
has come. Therefore, when the United States military decides to adopt
Invincible Defense Technology, it would be wise to select leaders of
Rickover's caliber and dedication to lead the charge if it expects to catch up
and win the race for "inner space."
The race is heating up. Readers of the
1
January 2008 issue of
Invincible Defense Technology News are
aware of the fully operational IDT systems in The Netherlands (Holland),
Trinidad and Tobago, Bolivia, Peru and Columbia. According the
Maj.
Gen. Singh's report, India is almost fully operational. However, these are
all civilian groups, doing the military's job of protecting their nation.
Hopefully, the United States will win the race for "inner space," just like it
won the race for "outer space" in the 1960's.
